The fifth tranche — 41 files spanning 1950 to 2026 — is the broadest historical release yet, with records from the Pentagon, FBI, CIA, State Department, and Executive Office of the President. Standout cases include a roughly 500-foot silent triangular craft over Afghanistan with no visible propulsion; a "mother orb" — a large orange sphere reportedly releasing smaller red orbs that dispersed independently, observed by law-enforcement personnel; a black triangle with red lights over Colorado described by a former Pentagon employee; and a revisited 1963 Brazilian report of a metallic sphere, released without authentication of the claims surrounding it. Newly released infrared videos generally lack range, altitude, and radar data needed for confident analysis. No extraterrestrial technology was confirmed in any case.
